A poem a day

Lewis Carroll is famous for his Alice in Wonderland, but he is also known for his comic fantasies and humorous verse. Here an example:

The Crocodile by Lewis Carroll

How doth the little crocodile
     Improve his shining tail,
And pour the waters of the Nile
     On every golden scale!

How cheerfully he seems to grin,
     How neatly spreads his claws,
And welcomes little fishes in,
     With gently smiling jaws!

*Note: doth = does

  1. This is my poem:
    I love you

    I love you mum,
    More than my life,
More than a husband loves his wife.
    I love you mum.

    I love you dad,
    More than my soul,
    More than my love.
    I love you dad.

    I love you sister,
    More than my heart,
More than a painter loves his art.
    I love you sister.

  2. WELCOME SPRING!
The spring come to the city.
The spring bring in her old bag:
new flowers, new trees, new rains...
Fruits in her trees with which:
play on the park, eat and play with my dog.
The flower that I pick for my mother,
for my best friend and for my draw.
The rain in which I get wet,
in which I jump in the mund.
In this seasons the birds come to the city.
    There are a lot of...
    ladybirds, beetles, butterflies...
and the most important animal the fly!
Those that bother at all hours of the day.
The spring is the most beautiful season.
    But the spring is over.
    The spring up his suitcase.
    And it goes saying:
    Until next spring!
