Based on the novel by Roald Dhal, The Witches, just released, is a 2020 dark fantasy comedy film directed by Robert Zemeckis. The film stars Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer and Stanley Tucci, and is narrated by Chris Rock.

I would recommend watching this movie because what is better than a classic witch movie to get in the mood for Halloween. However this story also has a comedy side, so I wouldn't want to miss it.
ReplyDeleteIf this hasn't convinced you yet, Anne Hathaway is the main actress, that should be reason enough to go watch it.
I would like to go to see this movie basically because the trailer's special effects are fabulous and the scenery where the movie is set seems very original to me.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn´t go to the cinema to watch this film because the cinema is very expensive, so I only go on special occasions. However, I wouln´t mind watching it at home because I really like the cast.

ReplyDeleteI think I would not miss the film but I don't know if I would pay for it. I really like the cast, Anne Hathaway is one of my favorite actresses. I also like fantasy films and the plot seems interesting and funny. The special effects are brilliant and the soundtrack transports you to the time. And of course if I watch the film I would know how to spot a witch.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the movie because I read the book when I was in primary school. I also like "Charlie and the chocolate factory", which was written by the same person who wrote "The witches". In addition, I think the cast is great because Anne Hathaway is in it.
